‘When you were born, God said “yes.” Yes to all you are and to all that you can be by His grace, His mercy and His love. He loved you at that moment without condition of reservation. There is nothing you can do to earn that love, and nothing you fail to do will lessen that love. The coming year is a new opportunity for you to discover more of the height, the breadth, the length and the depth of that incredible love.’

As Paul wrote in Romans, nothing can separate us from the love of God IN Christ Jesus …
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God IN Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:37-39 (ESV)
And it is indeed a great love with which He loves us …
And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:1-10 (ESV)
Remember as you walk through 2013 that the steadfast love of the Lord NEVER CEASES and His mercies are new EVERY MORNING!
But this I call to mind,
and therefore I have hope:
The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
“The LORD is my portion,” says my soul,
“therefore I will hope in him.”
The LORD is good to those who wait for him,
to the soul who seeks him.
It is good that one should wait quietly
for the salvation of the LORD.
Lamentations 3:21-26 (ESV)
May you and yours have a blessed, prosperous and joyful 2013 IN Christ Jesus!
